Special Containment Procedures: When interacting, both Staff (or D-Class Personnel) and SCP-8YN0 are permitted to use sunglasses to prevent a 8YN0-1 instance from occurring.

Description: SCP-8YN0 is a man going by the name of "Barnaby McVonnegut". He has dark hair and black eyes. He wears a top-hat and black coat (which hangs on his coat rack located in his quarters) over a white dress shirt with a red bowtie and dark pants and black dress shoes (which are located near the rack).

Barnaby is capable of "hypnotizing" an individual by eye contact. The "hypnotized" individual is called an 8YNP0-1 instance which can be reversed by clapping his hands twice, but when an individual is in this state they are unresponsive to stimuli.

Their eyes glaze over and they stand very still. They also cannot be knocked over.

Also in this state, Barnaby can say a command starting with, "At the snap of my fingers, you will..." then he'll state a command. Once he states the command and snaps his fingers afterwards, this state is called an 8YN0-2 instance and there is no reversing this state.
